Crazy Chimaera flames on the Olympic Coast of Turkey. Yep this is fire coming out of the rocks! Oh and this is also where Zeus had his lightening bolts made, so I thought I would put in an order for my own set….
Loved this anchorage. We were the only boat among these rocky islands. A perfect place until the anchor got stuck under a boulder, and Kolby had to dive to free it. It had been so jammed that the shaft ad bent when we were trying to haul it up.
So this is sadly all too typical. Take a moment to zoom into this picture. There is so much plastic mixed into this beach it is impossible to pick up. This goes beyond taking care not to throw garbage into the sea. This is stopping before purchasing plastic. Do you really need it?!?
I almost forgot these gems! These were taken in the ‘Blue Grotto’, the most fantastic ocean cave I have seen.
