The City
We think Vancouver is a wonderful place to live. Right here, in the heart of False Creek, we are close to everything! There is Granville Island – a regular destination for us to look at the boats (we never can get enough boats!), sample some of the free fares in the Market and enjoy a few pieces of Candied Salmon (you aren’t supposed to call it Indian Candy anymore…). Also close by is False Creek Elementary School; we walk right past it on our way to our parking garage, and just down the seawall is Charlsen Park a beautiful off leash dog park, complete with waterfall, fresh water swimming pool and stunning views of downtown Vancouver and the North Shore Mountains. This is a much loved doggy haven and an excellent example of what make Vancouver so special.
With the recent completion of the Canada Line and our central location we can get by easily with just one car. Although a lot of people complain about Vancouver’s public transportation, we find that it is excellent if you are just staying within the city. It’s when you have to go out of the city that it gets tricky! All of these things, plus many more, is what makes Spruce Harbour Marina such a brilliant place to live.
